Blink-182's Mark Hoppus Makes Scoring Debut on 'I'm Scared': Exclusive Video

What's his age again? At 43, Blink-182 vocalist and bassist Mark Hoppus has scored his first film.

Hoppus and collaborator James Ingram (the engineer, not the "Somewhere Out There" singer) wrote the score for I'm Scared, a four-minute stop-motion animated short directed by Pete Levin and produced by Dan Levy, Musa Brooker and Levin.

The film is based on drawings from popular fine artist Greg "Craola" Simkins, illustrating a boy's explanations to his little brother about what scary creepy crawlies and monsters are lurking in the dark. Read more...

Local Artists From Around The Globe Converge On Long Beach For Pow! Wow! Festival

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Artists from around the world are converging on Long Beach for what is billed as the Pow! Wow! Art Festival.

The artists have arrived to celebrate Long Beach’s first summer-long art fest. The show originated in Honolulu.

CBS2’s Stephanie Simmons got a festival preview on Friday.

WOW x WOW  interviews CRAOLA to discuss his new body of artwork for his WHERE AM I solo exhibit opening this weekend at KP Projects.

WOW x WOW: You have an upcoming solo show entitled ‘Where Am I?’ opening at Merry Karnowsky Gallery on May 23rd. Can you give us a little insight into the ideas and themes you’re exploring in the new work for this exhibit?

CRAOLA: My main focus when beginning this show was to flesh out the world I call ‘The Outside’ some more. I wanted to involve some of the more absurd characters that exist there and include multiple story lines in each painting.
